I know that you are eager to hear about the re-releases and the new CD.

So here is some information:

• I have been informed by the record company Panorama that they will try to re-release "Natt" in March and "Ultima Thule" in April 2004.
  If you know distributors in your town/country, feel free to contact us already now to make arrangements. :-)
• The new THULE CD is still in the process of being mixed, so we all have to be patient and wait and wait... :-)
• For the Norwegian fans: there will be a new interview with THULE on www.heavymetal.no shortly ... Be patient... :-)
• I have recently recorded a new demo CD myself, but it cannot, of course, be compared to THULE...
  Since I don't have a band for the time being, I am forced to play around with what I got and hope that I will be able to form a band again eventually... :-)

I am convinced that this will be a happy new year, at least when it comes to THULE and the three releases we are all waiting for.

• As I have told you in the previous newsletters, the first two THULE records "Ultima Thule" and "Natt" will be re-released on CD this Spring! :-)
• The best thing, however, is, of course, the new record. The band has started the mixing process, so just be patient ...
• I have been informed that somebody intends to make a documentary movie about THULE ... Very exciting! :-)
• For the real fans: I have published some private pictures from 1986! :-) The pictures are from Honningsvaag and the recording of Ultima Thule in 1987. Have fun! :-)

INFORMATION:

• Please give feedback on content and layout of the THULE website! I know that pictures and mp3s can be a problem for those who don't have access to broadband ...
• I have spent the Christmas holidays on preparing mp3 samples of all the songs from the last to THULE CDs. They will be available on the website shortly.
• THULE is supposed to perform on by:Larm (http://www.bylarm.no), a Norwegian band festival in Trondheim, on Friday February 14. However, there are some problems because the organizers won't pay more than 3.000.- NOK (approx. 430 USD / 400 EUR) for travelling. This is, of course, horrible, considering the fact that it isn't possible for four musicians to come to Trondheim, which is approx. 2000 km (1200 miles) south of the North Cape, for this amount of money ...
• Still an actual question: If anyone knows of a label that would be interested in signing THULE, contact us!
