Trondheim Airport Værnes

Approx. 35 km from Trondheim (30 min by Airport express bus - "Flybussen").

Bus ticket NOK 70.- kroner/person (Nov. 2005). Bus stop right outside the airport (only a few meters).

The bus leaves from the airport approx. 15 min. after you have gotten your luggage.

Bus stop right in front of Grand Olav hotel.

There is an Airport express bus leaving from the centre of Trondheim (right outside Grand Olav hotel) 45 min. before any take off at Trondheim Værnes airport (also in the morning for early flights)

Taxi from/to the airport: (if pre-ordered) NOK 280.- / person (Nov. 2005). It's not recommended to take one on the taxis at the airport without having pre-ordered unless you are at least three people (I don't think they will take four people in one cab unless you find a "maxi taxi" (big car)).

Airlines: SAS/Widerøe or KLM (from Oslo possibly also with Norwegian).

You can pay almost everywhere with a credit card, and there are cash automats ("minibank") all over the town.
