You noticed that there is a separate section for my music?
There you can read about the music I write myself. JH
I play the drums and I just love guitars
- which may cause some financial trouble now and then... :-)
I listen a lot to flamenco music and I try to play a little flamenco myself.
I used to play for the dancers in Flamenco Trondheim in 2003-2004.
Some of my favourite flamenco players are, for instance,
Paco de Lucía, Gerardo Nuñez, Tomatito...
I also listen a lot to plain classical guitar
(which used to be my main instrument during my studies),
and I am the webmaster for Trondheim guitar club.
Apart from flamenco, I listen to a lot of different music styles,
but mostly I prefer some real good classic rock and progressive rock.
Some of my favourite bands would be (just to mention some):
A.C.T., David Lee Roth, Deep Purple, Extreme, Firehouse, Gamma Ray,
Helloween, Iron Maiden, Joe Satriani, Jørn Lande (JORN), Mads Eriksen,
Masterplan, Queen, Rush, Steve Vai, The Sweet, TNT, Van Halen,
Yes, and many, many more.
My childhood was formed by Elvis, The Beatles, The Sweet and Kiss.
When it comes to Norwegian music,
I like Halvdan Sivertsen, Steinar Albrigtsen, Jørn Hoel,
Kari Bremnes (all northern Norwegians...).
But I also like, for instance, Jan Eggum and Jonas Fjeld.
If I had to choose to bring only one CD to a desert island,
I guess I would bring a CD with the last symphonies of Mozart.
So you see, even my taste of music is very complex... :-)
