What a waste when you wish
that the one you love would disappear,
disappear from your life,
vanish from this world.
What a waste when you wish
that the one you love you'd never met,
never met in your whole life,
never in this world.
What a waste not to love,
not to love this very one,
the one you met, the one you chose,
this one and only one.
What a waste when you spend your time
regretting that you love at all,
when you regret that you have met
and chosen a certain one.
What a waste when you spend your time
thinking about your choice;
when you don't understand yourself,
when the choice was wrong and the love has gone.
What a waste not to love
It's not a waste when you feel love,
when there is a certain one,
when you feel love in your heart;
at least you feel alive.
It's not waste when you have met somebody in your
life.
Even though you cannot get this one and only one
you have a heart, you have a soul and you know that
you're alive.
Even though you cannot get this one and only one.
What a waste not to love
